theres no set weight , how do you feel? look , you want to be fit , you need to work on speed, lateral movement , throwing on the run,reading defenses, changing plays at the line, reading blitses, fine tune your timing passes ,stay well stretched, before practice , and game time , work out with your team,but dont do heavy press work , you dont want muscle mass , just strenght, i dont know about this so called other writer who said he played canadian football, hope he does’nt become a coach, lol, anyway, my son plays for virginia tech , he’s a wide receiver, small for his size 5″10 200lbs, but he’s fast , runs4.3 40, but his best asset is his understanding of the game , familiarise yourself with the playbook , and create a genuine bond with your teamate, your a quarterback, your the leader of the offense, exude confidence not only in yourself , but your teamates , good luck to you
